  • 20ml aquafaba
  • 4 ground Oreo crumbs
  • 1 pack of Oreo cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tray with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, combine dairy-free milk and apple cider vinegar; let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and bicarbonate of soda.
  4. Mix sunflower oil into the milk mixture, then combine wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fill cupcake liners evenly with batter and bake for 20–25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  6. For frosting, beat dairy-free butter and icing sugar until creamy; add aquafaba gradually until smooth.
  7. Frost cooled cupcakes and decorate with ground Oreos for 'dirt,' white chocolate buttons for eyes, and half an Oreo for bat wings.
