Instructions
- Prepare pastry cream by heating milk, cream, and half of the sugar in a saucepan until simmering. Whisk remaining sugar, salt, cornstarch, and egg yolks in a bowl. - For the tart crust, combine flour, confectioners' sugar, and salt in a food processor. Add cold butter until crumbly; then mix in heavy cream until dough forms a ball. Chill dough for at least an hour.
