Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add marshmallows (and marshmallow creme if using) until fully melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the dry cake mix until well combined.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the crispy rice cereal and the melted mixture. Fold in most of the rainbow sprinkles.
  4. Press the mixture into a buttered 9×13 baking dish using a spatula sprayed with cooking spray.
  5. Top with remaining sprinkles before slicing into squares.
