  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 (15 ounce cans) great northern beans (drained)
  • 1/2 pound raw shrimp (peeled, deveined, tails removed)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add cubed chicken and sliced turkey sausage; cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Stir in onion, celery, bell pepper, and jalapeño; cook for 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Add garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and flour; stir for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Gradually pour in chicken broth and add great northern beans; bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in shrimp and heavy cream; cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 2–3 minutes.
