  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 3 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. Arrange peach wedges on the bottom, sprinkle with cinnamon.
  4. Make caramel by combining water and sugar in a saucepan, heating until light brown. Add bourbon and pour over peaches.
  5. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs one at a time, then vanilla and bourbon.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together flours, baking powder, and remaining cinnamon; gradually mix into wet ingredients.
  7. Pour batter over peaches and smooth out the surface.
