  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a 9” square baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large sauté pan, reduce apple cider by half (about 5 minutes), then whisk in cold butter until melted.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix eggs, sugars, oil, sour cream, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Slowly whisk in the boiled cider mixture until combined.
  5. Gently fold in flour until just mixed.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for 22–25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow cooling slightly before topping with melted butter and a cinnamon-sugar mixture.
